Methods:Adopt Case-control study, 196Xinjiang Kazak smokers with COPD were randomly enrolled as COPD group. 191Xinjiang Kazak healthy smokerswere enrolled as control group. （1）GenomicDNAwasobtainedfro peripherallymphocytesofthe387subjects. （2）InvestigatedSNPs were A/G within amino S1 and C/T within V4. Genotypes were determined by the Taq an polymerase chainreaction(PCR)method. （3）Calculationsandstatisticswereperformedwiththecomputerprogram, 2 SPSS 17.0. Statistical analysises adopt χ test, t test, and calculate the values of odds ratio and 95% confidence intervals for odds ratio.Results：(1) There were no significant difference between the two groupsgender,age,smokingindex(P＞0.05);andtocomparethetwogroupslungfunctionindicatorssuch as FEV1%P and FEV1/FVC,there have significant difference(P ＞ 0.05).(2) No deviation fro Hardy-Weinberg equilibriu were noted inboth COPD andcontrolgroup inV4 and S1(P0.05). ）.(3) Genotypes frequencies were no different between the COPD group and control group for V4 and 2 S1(V4:χ=6.672，P=0.010) (genotype frequency:CC:82.1%VS91.1%, CG: 17.9%VS 8.9%,GG: 0%VS 2 0%)，(S1: χ=4.276，P=0.039) (genotype frequency:AA: 74.5%VS83.8%,AG: 24.5%VS16.1%, GG: 1.0%VS 0%).(4)Inthe SNPoftheV4 andS1,the genotypeCGandAGhave increasedtherise ofCOPD comparetogenotypeAA(CG:OR=1.451,95%CI:1.673-3.738;GG:OR=2.635,95%CI:1.425-3.869).(5) There also has no significant differences in allele genotype frequencies between the two groups （V4： 2
