Abstrac :t The flow characteristics of intake port in two cylinders dieselengine are studied, and the characteristics ofwhich the C g gas flows in the intakeport and cylinderare also analyzed according toCFD results. The comparisons aremadebetween the orig-i 模 r o nal structure and two kinds ofmodified structure, in which them inimum section area ismodified, and the flow discharge coeff-i 楷 o. cient and swirlratioof threekinds of intake ports are obtained. The results indicate that theaveragesw irl ratio in schemeA is in- O e creased by 14. 5%, and the average discharge coefficient in schemeB is increased by 5. 4%. A ll of above shows thatm inimum E m section area is one of themain structure parameters in intake ports.
