Whose house can it be? Get Ss to brainstorm the rooms in the house and the possible things in the rooms. Draw a little girl walking towards the house. She has golden hair and her name is Goldilocks. What’s she going to do? Can you guess what kind of child Goldilocks is? Step 2 Reading Read the story fast to find the answers to the questions in “Lead-in”: Whose house is it? What did the girl do? What kind of child is Goldilocks? Find or write a topic sentence for each paragraph Go through the story quickly, then number the sentences into correct order. Ask and answer detailed questions in pairs: (1) When did Goldilocks came to the bears’ house? (2) Where were the bears at that time? (3) Why did the bears go for a walk? (4) Which parts of the house did Goldilocks go into? (5) What did she see in each room? (6) What did she do in each room? Read again and complete the form of 1.3 on p.89 Follow the tape once Step 3 Listening Guess the ending of the story Listen to the last part of the story twice and complete the sentences Discuss the ending Step 4 Speaking（optional） Watch the flash of the whole story and notice the differences between the flash and the text Tell the differences orally.
