Youll have 45 minutes to answer the DBQ. You will then have 70 minutes to answer two thematic essay questions. The DBQ essay is worth 45 percent of the free-response score; the two thematic essays together contribute 55 percent of the free-response score. That’s 130 minutes if you are scoring at home!
