They use it consciously in their teaching. Their teaching result proves that communicative approach is an effective teaching method, by which we can help Junior students obtain the fundamental English know ledge and the ability of hearing, speaking, reading and writing. The present essay discusses the origin, principle of communicative approach and problems in applying this good teaching method in Middle schools.
