To reduce any impact on the surrounding environment, creating a station design that combines with its environment is taken into serious consideration during the planning and design stages. This article aims to take Neihu line’s two underground stations, Songshan Airport Station and Dazhi Station, as examples and describe two quite different styles of combining Taipei MRT stations with their neighboring environments.
