激活英语教学阅读资源手段和方法 　　《英语课程标准》指出，英语教育的目的应着重培养学生用英语获取信息和处理信息的能力。阅读是中国人学习英语，掌握英语基础知识，巩固和扩大英语词汇量，获取英语信息，增进对英语使用国文化的理解，发展英语的思维能力等的最主要途径。阅读课是训练学生阅读理解能力的主要途径，也是学生学习新语法和巩固旧知识的主要载体。因此，我们必须高度重视阅读课，通过各种方法来提高学生的阅读能力，而且由于英语各方面的能力也是相辅相成的，所以我们也必须充分开发阅读课的潜力，有效地利用阅读课的资源。有效的阅读活动是一个充满积极思维活动的过程，它能培养学生的个性，发展学生的智力。它既是一种创造性实践活动的过程，又是一个综合运用英语语言知识的过程。可见，有效阅读课是知识形成和阅读技能培养的过程。 在阅读课中，应着重提高学生用英语获取信息、识记信息、疏理信息和应用信息的能力，从而进一步发展学生的综合语言运用能力。 下面我们先来看一段课例实录 （EEC教材八年级（下）Unit 2 “ Not too short”）。 T： Look at the slide.
