The research results show that silt content, silt particle size and sand grain composition have a great impact on liquefaction characteristicsof saturatedsandcontainingsilt. Theliquefactionresistanceof saturatedsandcontainingsiltmay increase or decrease as silt content increases. In some cases,there might exist a limit silt content such that the dynamic strength of sand containing silt changes non鄄monotonously as the silt content increases.
