Abstract: Modifications were made f or the hot water circ lation process for reboil ers of VCM
rectification col mns, incl ding increasing the circ lating load of hot water, lowering the tempera
t re diff erence between inlet and o tl et of hot water. After modifications, the selfpolymerization
on the plates of high boiling col mns and rectif ication col mns were red ced, the q ality of VCM
was stabilized, and some economic effects were prod ced.
