Step1:Warming up:
Free talk.(Review the knowledge.)
Say some words about the job.
Play a game.Guess and do.
Step2:Presentation and practice
Tell a story about Ben. “One day,he was playing with the fire.And his house was in fire.What should he do”? Ask students answer the question.
S:Shout help. Call 119 厖
Teacher continue the story,Ben is a clever boy,
he telephoned 119.And many firemen were coming,Play the tape,Ask students listen and ansew: “what’s that noise?
Teach the word “engine” and practice ①Read after the teacher. ②Train train go go go
T:What colour is the engine?S:Red.Then ask students guess:It’s white,It’s a van.There is a red mark “+” on it,we can see it in the hospital.
Teach the word “ambulance” ①Boys read girls read. ②Find the card.
Show Minnie and Micky.
T:Who is he? S:He’s Micky.
T:What’s he? He’s an ambulance man.
Practice the word one by one in group:man ambulance man an ambulance man He is an ambulance man.
Use the same way to teach “ambulance woman”
Review the words:policeman, policewoman, fireman, firewoman, ambulance man,ambulance woman.Put them on the blackbord.
Play a game:What’s the next one.
Show Minnie and Micky.Teacher say:Minnie and Micky are very super,They can do many things.Put the picture before the the word,ask:What’s he?/What’s she?
Ask students like teacher do this step.
Review the new words: ①Teacher do and students say ②1.2.3 stop
Listen to the tape and read after the tape.
