English Drama Peacocks Southeast Traveling 2013.10.18 Background We have known many Greek tragedies in the past one month. In fact, there are so many tragedies in the Chinese traditional culture. So we team consider shooting a film about Chinese tragedies. When we were middle school students, we all knew some sentimental love stories and looked forwards to love. We like story such as Butterfly Lovers(梁祝), Peacocks Southeast Traveling（孔雀东南飞）, The Legend of White Snack（白蛇传） and The Cowherd and the Girl Weaver（牛郎织女）. We Chinese all like happy ending.Then we’ll shoot a film about Peacocks Southeast Traveling that has a new story and a happy ending . Character 焦仲卿Johnny (J for short) 刘兰芝Lunch (L for short) 焦母Johnny’s mother (JM for short) 刘母Lunch’s mother (LM for short) 丫鬟 Servant Girl（SG for short） 太守之子Mayor’s son (MS for short) 强盗Burglars (A B and C) Prologue (焦刘的父母坐在一起讨论他俩的婚事，吵得不可开交) LM：Do you have a big house? Do you have an expensive car? Do you have enough money? My daughter——Lunch can do everything. She can play the piano and her teacher is Richard Clayderman. She can play Go(下围棋) and her teacher is Guli.She have a masterful Calligraphy and her teacher is Wang Xizhi. She can draw well and her teacher is Qi Baishi.
