Asa consequence,publicinstitutionsofscienceandtechnologyhavebeencalledtoplayacentralroleintheinnovationsystems providingrelevantinputsforthenecessarylearningprocessinordertoobtainproductandprocessinnovation . Nevertheless, itlookslikethattheseinstitutions,inArgentina,areprisonersoftheoffer(science)push--demandpulltensionfarawayofa systemic behaviorin an innovative environment.Thiswork studiesfourcases ofagri—food production in Argentina , consideringaregionalapproachandthelearningnetworksaroundeachproduction . Itisconcludedthatthebehaviorofeach institutionisdifferentofreachcase.INTAhasasystemicconductinallcaseswhiletheotheronesshow asystemicbehavior onlyinthecasethattheirOfflermatchestospecificdemands.
