2007年 9月 西安外国语大学学报 Sept．2007 第 15卷 第 3期 JournalofXi’anInternationalStudiesUniversity Vo1．15No．3 非英语专业大学生英语作文过渡语形式的调查与分析 张 琳 (西安文理学院 外国语 言文学系 陕西 西安 710065) 摘 要 ：外语教学的改进仅仅依赖真实的 目的语材料是不够的。教师如果对学习者在 目的语的运用方面的信息缺乏了 解 ，其教学必然会 出现无的放矢的情况。本研究通过分析9o名不同水平非英语专业在校大学生的作文实际样本 ，深入 考察 了学习者在语 言学层面、错误来源层面的不同错误 的分布情况并进行 了客观分析 。通过分析 ，本研 究得 出以下结 论 ：1)非英语专业大学生英语作文 中错误分布 的特征与语言能力有关。从语言学范畴来看 ，词汇和句法错误是影响各 个水平外语学习者作文质量的重要 因素 。2)从错误来源来看 ，总体上 ，语际错误 即母语干扰是造成本研 究中英语学习 者作文 中过渡语错误 的主要原 因。基于结论 ，本研 究还对大学英语教学提 出了一些建议 。 关键词 ：非英语专业；过渡语 ；错误分布 ；语言学范畴；错误来源 中图分类号 ：H319 文献标识码 ：A 文章编号 ：1673—9876(2007)03—0071—05 Abstract：The only use oforiginalmaterials is notdefinitely sufficientin foreign language learning．A clear understandingoflearners’actualuseofthetargetlanguagewillhelpFL teachersto teachEnglishproperlyinChina． Through theanalysisof the sample writing papersof90 differenttypesofcollege studentsfrom three different universitiesinShaanxiProvince，thestudyquantitativelyandqualitativelyexaminesvariouserrorscommittedintheir writings from the pointofview oflinguisticsand errorsources．The analyses indicate：1)Interlanguageerrors distributionfeaturescorrelatewiththelearners’Englishproficiency；2)Thegeneraltendencyisthatnativelanguage interference，nottargetlanguageinterferenceaffectstheChineseEFL learners’interlanguageprogress；3)Itturns outthaterrorsinlexisandsyntaxconstitutethemajorproblem tomostlearnersateachlevelofEnglishlearnersin thestudy．Atlast，theimplicationsforCollegeEnglishteachingarealsoproposed． Keywords：non—Englishmajors；interlanguage；errordistribution；linguisticcategory；errorsource 为一种重要的研究手段在 7o年代得到了较全面的发展。中外 1．引言 学 者都对 此进 行 了研 究：如 J．C．Richards，1974；S．P． 在第二语言习得研究中，对过渡语 的讨论 已有
