传统作为活的文化资源 　　 　　 In the Artworks Exhibition of Paris Autumn Saloon, France that has just finished Cai Zhisong-the teacher of the Sculpture Department, Central Academy Of Fine Arts , China was awarded the highest prize-Taylor Prize. It is the first time for the Chinese artists to award the special prize during the nearly 100-year history of Paris Autumn Saloon. This prize was conferred together by French artists, sculptors, Construction Association and Taylor Foundation. French Autumn Saloon was founded in 1903 under the proposition of Rodin, Renoir and Sculptor Franz? Rurdin etc. It was because a group of artists tried to show their artworks that they founded this saloon. The artists were not qualified to attend the governments exhibition then. At the beginning of the 20th it became an important organization to improve the French modern art , meanwhile the famous groups such as Fauvism (1905)and Cubism(1912)emerged in Autumn Saloon Exhibition, For hundreds of years, there are thousands of artists showing their artworks here ,including the world master painters such as Gauguin, Cezanne, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, Bonnard ,Maillol, Rodin, Brancusi and so on. There are 409 artists from all over the world to show their nearly 1000 artworks in this years saloon, including 10 Chinese artists artworks. 　　 　　法国巴黎秋季沙龙作品展中，中央美术学院雕塑系教师蔡志松获得最高奖――泰勒大奖。在巴黎秋季沙龙近百年的历史中，中国艺术家首次获此殊荣。这一奖项是由法国画家、雕塑家、建筑师协会和泰勒基金会联合授予的。法国秋季沙龙在罗丹、雷诺阿和建筑师弗朗兹?儒尔丹等人的倡导下，创建于1903年，它最初是一批落选法国官方展览的艺术家为展示自己的作品而成立的，在20世纪初成为推动法国现代艺术的重要组织，如著名的“野兽派”（1905年）和“立体派”（1912年）就诞生于秋季沙龙展。近百年来，有上千位艺术家在这里展出过作品，其中包括高更、塞尚、雷诺阿、马蒂斯、毕加索、博纳尔、马约尔、罗丹、布朗库西等世界级大师。本届沙龙有来自世界各国的409位艺术家的千余件作品参展，其中包括10位中国艺术家的作品。 　　蔡志松1997年毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系并在那里任教。2002年4月4日，新华社播发的消息，使人们注意到这个不善言辞的青年，他获得巴黎秋季沙龙的最高奖。这再一次让我们反思，在全球化思潮与民族文化冲突的今天，中国雕塑如何参与世界文化的对话交流？这个问题转化为蔡志松的个案，可以理解为应该如何认识获奖雕塑《故国系列》在当前文化环境中的价值？ 　　我想这里有两个问题可以讨论。第一个问题是，在当代雕塑越来越强调公共性的时候，我们如何认识公共性的内涵。也就是说，作为公共艺术的雕塑艺术，其艺术价值来自何处？在意识形态强大的社会文化制度中，雕塑家作为精神生活的个体，如何保持个人的独立的精神探索并将这种精神的创造与当代社会的文化取向进行融合？ 　　纵观中外雕塑史，雕塑艺
