Methods: By the cooperation of bank and hospital, bank hospital card service was carried out to remedy the defects of current appointment mode. Results: Bank hospital card oriented appointment mode could achieve patient, hospital and society win-win. But there are also some problems. Conclusions: Outpatient appointment service mode is an inevitable trend for large general hospitals. And it has got some effectiveness. But the mechanism of appointment service still needs more research in theory and practice.
