《Unit 1 what time does school start?》教学设计 Ⅰ.Analysis of the students The students have learnt how to talk about time and their daily life before. This class they are going to use time and some sentence patterns to talk about school life after listening and reading a passage, so the knowledge they had will help them a lot. And also the students will develop their listening, reading and speaking skills in this class. Ⅱ.Analysis of the teaching material The text mainly tells us the school life in England, it will be interesting to the students. The text is long, but there aren’t too many difficulties. The students will understand the text well if they can grasp the main sentences patterns. Ⅲ.Teaching aims: 1. Learn and grasp the words and sentences of four skills: Exercise, playground, skip, before, coffee What time do you get up? I get up at six o’clock. What time does school start? My school starts at 9 o’clock. 2. Use the sentence patterns to talk about school life. Be able to understand the text and find out about school in England by listening and reading the text. 3. Develop the students’ abilities of cooperating with others and train students’ attitude to know about western culture knowledge.
