(第二课时:活动课‘Everyone is special.’) 教学目标 1.知识目标:通过开展活动来巩固、落实描述人物外貌特征的单词和句型。 2.技能目标: 1)能抓住人物的主要特征来描述人物的外貌,并根据人物特征推理出某一人。 2)能和伙伴互相交流,充分交换信息,进行合作学习。 3)能结合实际生活,灵活运用描述人物外貌的方法,提高英语语言表达能力和英语写作水平。 教学重点 学会灵活运用描述外貌特征的词汇和句型,特别是be和have在描述外貌时的用法。 教学方法 情景教学法和任务教学法 教学辅助 多媒体教学 ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??? Teaching Procedures: Steps Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention 1. Lead in Play a song for students to enjoy and lead in the topic. Enjoy the song and guess the topic. 缓解学生的紧张情绪,同时导入本课话题。 2.Review Provide an E-mail with?? many blanks left for students to complete. 1. Complete the E-mail. 2. Read the letter together. ? 1、复习用“be”,“have”描述人物外貌特征时的区别。 2、为下一步的“free talk ”作铺垫。 3.Free talk 1. Give each group several pictures of students and teachers to describe. 2. Get one student of each group to describe the pictures in front of the class. Group work : describe the pictures. 使学生能熟练地用英语来综合描述人物的外貌特征,同时复习上单元最后一课“What is she wearing?”内容。 4.A guessing game ?Ask a student to pick up one piece of paper with a person’s name on? casually and get? other students to guess who it is. 1.One student comes to the front to pick up a person’s name casually. 2.
