In order to achieve the goal of “Green Olympic”, the Organizing Committee for Beijing Olympic Games (BOCOG) has made tremendous efforts and achieved apparent successes in various aspects, including stadium construction, air quality improvement, transportation management, city greenization and water saving and diverting. However, the improvement of overall ecological environment of Beijing city remains to be an arduous task. Key Words: Green Olympic, the city of Beijing, air quality 2001年7月13 日，北京申办第二十九届奥运会成功。 2002年7月13 日，是北京申奥一周年纪念日。这一天，北京奥组委正式公布 《北京奥运行动规划》，提出了奥运会建设的整体目标和计划。几年来，围绕“绿 色奥运、人文奥运”的理念，奥运建设有序推进，各项准备工作取得圆满的成绩。 On July 13 th, 2001, Beijing was granted the right to hold the 29 th Olympic Games. On one year anniversary of that episode, BOCOG officially announced “Beijing Olympic Action Plan” and released the overall goals and plans for Olympic Constructions.
