This example is also excellent for some smaller companies where a secondary installation of ePO, (and the associated cost of hardware and administration), is not desirable. Advantages - one ePO server to reduce administrative overhead, and lower hardware costs. Disadvantages - more traffic (both from agents and a remote console), over the WAN. Solution 2 In this scenario, it is not required to have two administrators. One administrator may remotely manage the second location. You will need to have someone with the appropriate rights to install the ePO software at both sites; however, once installed, the administrator may remotely manage the second location. In all but the simplest scenarios, there are likely to be multiple ways of implementing ePO. This course aims to give you the information required to understand how ePO functions, so that decisions can be made with a full understanding of their consequences.
