During western festival days, we can see many students will imitating the western ways to celebrate them in western ways. Western festivals are being deeply influences among Chinese students. ?However, anything has two sides, the positive thing is that these festival bring more colure to the youth life, the negative side is that these western festivals are challenging our Chinese traditional festivals. Meanwhile, our country has made new policy to protect the national holidays. So this paper will try to find out what are the western festivals popular in China, what are the influences on Chinese college students and why are influences so strong? Also?this paper will also try to find out the solutions to deal with this problem.
