知識轉移處 致知致用 The Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) is the vital link between City University of Hong Kong and the community in terms of the exchange of knowledge, which includes know-how, technology, skills and expertise, for both commercial and non-commercial applications. Through knowledge transfer, the Office aims to forge close ties with industry, business and the wider public for the betterment of Hong Kong and beyond. On top of knowledge transfer and commercialization, KTO also assists the Vice-President (Research and Technology) to oversee the management of the CityU Shenzhen Research Institute (SRI) and the City University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) Research Institute Building (CityUSRIB) located in the Shenzhen Hi-tech Industrial Park. The Office manages CityU Research Ltd (CityUR) and CityU Research Institute (Shenzhen) Co Ltd (CRIS), both of which are CityU wholly-owned companies.
