A holistic education is a guidance that ameliorates peoples lives through education. With the unification of science history and scientific teaching, it is possible for students to internalize the relationships among science, technology and society, and to resolve quotidian problems in order to harmonize life with education. Holistic education benefits students characters, too. By combining science history and scientific teaching, students are able to understand the basis, methods and the essence of science, to tell right from wrong, to correct errors, to have better moral judgment, and most of all, to improve their lives. Holistic education is the instruction of truthfulness, goodness and attractive suitability. Through the schooling of science history and scientific teaching, learners can, not only modify their learning attitude, but also advance their knowledge acquisition skills and eventually appreciate the excellence of scientific education. The object of this thesis is to advocate the incorporation of the history of science with scientific teaching, in order to make holistic education a reality.
