On the Chinese Translation of Attributive Clause in Business English Contract Abstract: This paper introduces the principle of translation of business English contract and explores the possible methods of translating English attributive clauses in business English contract into Chinese with a large number of samples and analysis. But the most important thing is that we should use flexible methods in different situations. Translating English attributive clauses into Chinese is one of the most knotty tasks for translators, because attributive expressions in English are complex and also different from Chinese. However, there are many long and complicated attributive clauses in business English contract. And business English contract as a special law style writing needs accuracy and strictness, otherwise a little ambiguity of translation will caused economic dispute, even may bring a heavy loss to the Chinese side.
