The origin Chinese tea was primarily used as a medicine before the 8th century B.C. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Chinese people chewed tea leaves and enjoyed the taste of the juice itself. During the Qin and Han dynasties , simple processing of Chinese tea emerged. In Tang Dynasty , the art of Chinese tea started to take shape. Tea became popular in Tang and prospered in Song . From the Ming Dynasty , Chinese tea completed the process of moving from boiling to brewing. Specialty tea tools like Yixing teapots became popular. After Ming, numerous types of Chinese teas were introduced. World influence Tea from China, along with her silk and porcelain, began to be known the world over more than a thousand years ago and has since always been an important Chinese export. Its picked, natural dried, and then fried briefly to get rid of its grassy smell. Green Tea has the most medical value and the least caffeine content of all Chinese tea classes. Chinese Black tea produces a full-bodies amber when brewed. Black tea undergoes withering (drying), left to ferment for a long while, and then roasted. Black tea has a robost taste with a mild aroma.
