Warming up and Lead-inLead -in by playing a short video.Step 2. New words.Play the sounds of dog, cat, pig, and then get students to guess the name of them. Ask students to guess the name of animals with some clues of description of animals.Note: teach new words panda, zoo, tiger, elephant, koala, lion, giraffe, animal, cute, lazy, smart, beautiful by playing guessing games.Show some pictures of animals to read and emphasize the pronunciations of the plural forms.Step 4. Listening PracticeListen and check the animals you hear in 1a.(pandas, giraffes, koalas)Step 5.PracticeAsk and answer between teacher and students with the short video and pictures like this:A: Let’s see ... first. They’re my favorite animals.B: Why do you want to see them?A:Because they are...Encourage students to ask and answer with the pictures.Step 6. Do a survey(1)Divide students into groups of four, and then ask and answer like this:A: Do you like......?B: Yes, I do.A: Why do you like them?B:Because theyre ....A: Do you like........? B:No, I don’t. A: Why don’t you like them?
