ABSTRACTObjective:Toevaluatetheapplicationvalueof3.0Tmagneticresonancediffusiontensorimaginginventricularremodelingaftermyocardialinfarction,detectcardiacmusclefibersremodelingofmyocardialinfarctionzone,peri-infarctionzoneandnon-infarctionzone,soastoexplorethemechanismandheterogeneityof ventricularremodelingindifferentareasaftermyocardialinfarction.Materialsandmethods：Wechose42adultmalerabbits,dividedintonormalgroup(n=5),sham-operationgroup(n=5)andmyocardialinfarctiongroup(n=32). Weestablishedrabbitmyocardialinfarctionmodelsbyligatingtheleftventricular branchofcoronary artery,while7died postoperative,25lived. The25 survivorswereputtodeathatpostoperative 1 w,2w,4 w,8 w and 16 w, with5 excisedheartateach time-pointrespectively.Thehearttypeswerescannedinvitrodiffusiontensor imagingandpost-processedimagesbymeasuringthefractionalanisotropyvalueandthemeandiffusioncoefficientofthemyocardialinfarctionzone,peri-infarctionzoneandnon-infarctionzone.Meanwhile,byproceedingdiffusiontensortractographyand reconstruction primaryeigenvectormapsindifferentareas,soastodisplaythealignment,tightnessandcontinuityofmyocardialfibersdirectly.Wecomparedthedifferenceofremodelinginmyocardialinfarctionzone,peri-infarctionzoneand non-infarctionzonebyDTI.Results:ThereweredifferencesinboththeaverageFAandMDofinfarction zone,peri-infarctionzoneandnon-infarctionzoneaftermyocardialinfarction,weanalyzedthevaluesindifferent areasbythepairwisecomparison,the averageFAand MDvaluesbothhadstatisticallysignificance.Fromtheinfarctionzoneextendingto the peri-infarction zone, andcompensatoryremodelingofthe non-infarctionzone,theaverageFAvalues wereonthe rise, whiletheaverageMDvalueswereonthedecline,bothwere significantlynegative correlation (r=-0.791,p＜0.001).However,thecorrelationofFAandMDindifferentareasvaried,intheinfarctionzoneand peri-infarctionzone,theFAhadsignificantlynegativecorrelationwiththeMD,withr=-0.638,p=0.001andr=-0.607,p=0.003respectively.Whileinthenon-infarction zone,therewas nocorrelationbetwe
