Made by Ding Jiangtao Introduction of Charlie Chaplin * Who is he? * Charlie Chaplin was a famous English comic actor and film director of the silent film era. He became one of the best-known film stars in the world before the end of the First World War. Chaplin used mime [maim]( 哑剧), slapstick and other visual comedy routines, and continued well into the era of the talkies, though his films decreased in frequency from the end of the 1920s. * His childhood Charlie Chaplin was born on April 16, 1889 in London. Her father was an entertainer and although not one of the big names, he was doing very well. Her mother Hannah was also an entertainer. A wonderful mimic, she had a sweet, charming voice. While they were by no means rich, the music hall provided the Chaplins with a comfortable living. * His childhood Unfortunately happy life didnt last long. Finally it ended in divorce.Without his mother, Charlie Chaplin would have become just one more child lost in the poverty of Victorian London. * His childhood but his mother Hannah was indomitable [ind?umit?bl](不气馁的). Somehow she not only managed to keep Charlie and his brother Syney clean and warm, clothed and fed but she conjured [k?nd??d] little treats for them.
