Period 2 (Task time Chant and write) Teaching aims: Enable Ss to read and act the dialogue. Enable Ss to use old and waste articles to design clothes and use the language point what they learnt during the fashion show. Enable Ss to do blank filling (Chant and write). Teaching Materials: Cards, tapes and recorder Paper, magazine, paper boxes and some waste articles. Gums, color pens, scissors, etc. Teaching Steps: Warm-up and review. Listen to the tape of Chant and write. T (first time): What subjects do you hear? T (second time): Please write down the name of the class you heard (Press “ pause” to control time. T (third time): (write down from Monday to Friday, try to ask Ss) what classes so you have on…? Presentation. 1. T shows the clothes design by self and ask: What day is it today? It is…Today we are going to have a fashion show. First let’s design our clothes. 2. Ss do group (4-8 persons) works: design a clothes, try to use “ Can I use your…? Let’s/me… 3. Each group choice 1-2 Ss to show their works, use the sentence pattern: This is …we use … is it nice/beautiful…? Now, group 2,it is your turn now. 4. Read and write and show the works Do some listening exercises in Activity books. 4. Homework. Teacher’s note Period 3 (Spelling game Let’s read Think and writes) Teaching aims: Enable Ss to read and understand the act assessment of John in “Let’s read ”, and do T or F by Ss self.
