Step 2.Lead-in 1.T shows some pictures about Canada to the Ss and ask some Qs. 2.Today we are going to learn Unit 5 Canada-“TheTrue North” Step 3.Warming-up 1.T asks the Ss do the quiz about Canada in pairs 2.T presents the correct answers and explain some points if necessary. ( Answers:1.C 2.D 3.A 4.B 5.A) 3.T asks some Ss to report their numbers of correct answers. After you learn this Unit, you will learn more about Canada.. Step 4.Pre-reading 1.T asks the Ss to look at the map and describe what they see. 2.T guides the Ss to predict the content of the passage with the help of the title and the pictures Title: A Trip On “the True North” A train is going through forests.
