The Ministryoflandandresourcesin2010launchedtheprojectthatispotentialstudy on carbon sink from the side of geologyin China,for estimating explicitly the function and intensityof carbon sink format -ting by the process of karst geology.Thatcouldhelpourcountryobtaintheactivepositionwheneverycountry negotiate about the change in the climate.Meanwhile, find a method that would calculate carbon sinkaccurately causedby karst water cyclethough the theory ofcarbonsinkbykarstprocess.Ontheotherhand,throughtheproject,wecould master the corrosion characteristics of carbonate usingthe method offield corrosion experiment,and understand further the mechanism of carbonate rock corrosing in karst process.Taking Dalongdong underground river basin in the Hunan Province as an example,at the basement ofthe investigation ,such as hydrological geological,dynamicmonitoringofflowandwaterchemistry,soilorganiccarbon, inorganiccarbonandchemicalcomponentcontent,dynamicCO2concentrationinthe soil air, to analyse the water chemistry character -ristics of the system of Dalongdongundergroundriver.Andlearntheregularofcarbonaterockdistributed inthebasin,usethechemicalrunoffmethodandfieldcorrosionmethodtocalculate the amount of carbon sink.33The system of Dalongdong underground river has a typical double-layer structure.Within the groundwater recharge process,the maior methods content injection, leakage and infiltration.Thesystem has the natural flow state,and thedynamicchangeswerelarge.ThetypeofgroundwaterchemicalisHCO--Ca,and rangeofpHvalueis7～8.64.ThereisagoodcorrelationshipbetweenpHvalue andgroundwater.PCO2inwaterwaseffectedbythepHvalue,moreovercontrolled bythesystemofcarbonatero
