AcknowledgementsI?mindebtedtoanumberofpeoplefortheirinestimableassistanceinthe preparation ofthis thesis.First of all, myappreciation goes to mysupervisor, Prof.ZhouFangzhuwho has persistentlygivenmeinstructionandencouragementthroughoutthewritingofthe thesis.Withouthispatientguidance,valuablecommentandenlighteningsuggestions in theprocess of mythesis writing, this thesiswould not havetaken the present form.Iamalsogratefultotheprofessorsandteacherswhosethought-provoking lectures andinsightfulguidance havehelped mealot in writingthis thesis.Myheart-feltthanksalsogotomydearclassmates.Theyare:ChenKun,Zhou Haihong,BaoYingjing, to name just a few.Ibenefitalot from their assistance.Lastbutnotleast,Iwanttoexpressmydeepgratitudetomyparents,fortheir love, care and encouragement duringthis study.AbstractInourcountry,translationstudyhasundergonethreestages:thephilological paradigm, structuralismand deconstructualism.Thephilologicalparadigmisakindofnon-rationaltranslationstudywhichis featuredbyintuitionandinspiration.Becauseofitsarbitrariness,thispatternisnot suitableforguidingtranslationstudyandthusreplacedbystructuralismsoon.The structuralismtranslationmodelistheonethattakessubjectiveepistemological philosophyasitsphilosophicalfoundation.Ithasastrongdirectivityandcloselyconnectswithtext.Itstheory，ontheonehand,isverifiedbytextandontheotherhandactsontextdirectly.However,suchstudymodelispossessedofextreme closeness—excludingotherfactorsrelatedtotranslationbuttext,thereforeits practicalityisgreatlyaffected.Deconstructualismnegatesandcriticizesthe structuralism.Itnotonlypointsoutthedefectsofstructuralismbutbridgesthegap.In thismodel,staticstudy isimprovedtodynamicstudyandallrelatedfactorsexcluded bystructuralismarecombinedwithinnerfactors,sothatmulti-translationstudyis promoted.
