AbstractFacedetectionhasbecomethehotresearchtopicinthefieldofcomputervisionandpatternrecognition.Asfarasearlyinthe1990s,peoplehavebeguntoengageinthenewlyopenedareasoffacerecognitionresearch,andnowmoreandmoresolutionmethodshavebeenproposed.However,becauseofthethree-dimensionalrigidbodyfeatureoftheface,therearestillmanydifficultiesinthemulti-viewfacedetectionwhichwouldbeeasilyaffectedbytheintensityoflight,theangleoffaceorthecameraandthemaskovertheface.Toachievethefastmulti-viewfacedetectionsystem,themajorworksofthispaperdoneasfollows:Usingadouble-layermulti-viewfacedetection(MVFD)treestructurewhichcombinedwiththeattitudeestimation.Firstly,usingapre-depthclassifierstructurewhichcanquicklydistinguishfacesandnon-faces.Secondly,proposingafastfaceattitudeestimationalgorithmwhichreusingtheLABfeatureextractinginpre-classifieranduseAdaboostM1whichfacesmulti-labelissue.Thecandidatewindowswillbesendtotheclassifierwhichbelongstoafaceattitude,what’smore,itspeedsuptheoverallclassificationrateofdetection.Finally,BFStreestructurewillbeusedtoenhancetheaccuracyinMVFDtree.StudyingandimplementingthecascadeAdaboostclassifieralgorithmbasedonlarge-scalesamplesset.Thetraditionalcascadeclassifiercanonlysupportlarge-scalenegativesamples,whilethemagnitudeofpositivesamplesmaintainatarelativelylowlevel.Inordertosupportlarge-scaleclassificationsampleofpositiveandnegativecases,thispaperusesamatrix-basedlearningmethod,andusesafeatureinheritancemethodtoacceleratethetrainingspeed,simultaneouslyimprovingthedetectionaccuracybasedonlarge-scalesamples.StudyingandimplementingtheLABfeature-centricmethod.Thispaperbuildsanefficientper-classifierwithLABfeaturesandtheAdaboostmethod,andusesthefeature-centricmethodtoavoidrepeatedcountingofthesamefeaturesinoverlappingwindows.ExperimentalresultsdemonstratethattheproposedMVFDtreestructurecanlocatethefacesinimagesquicklyandaccurately,anddistinguishdifferentattitudesoffaceseffectively.Keywords:facedetection,attitudeestimation,Cascadeclassifier,matrix-basedlearningmet
