AbstractRadbruchisoneofthegreatestandthemostinfluentialphilosophersandcriminallawexpertsinGermanhistoryinthe20thcentury.Asanimportantrepresentativeinthefieldoflegalphilosophy,RadbruchwhobelongstotheHeidelberg’sschoolofneo-Kantianphilosophy,sethistheorybasedontheneo-Kantianphilosophy,inheritedandcarriedforwardthetraditionofneo-KantianLaw,anddevelopedapositivelyrelativistlegal-philosophy.Thepositivelyrelativistlegal-philosophymadebyRadbruchwasaimedatovercomingtheNaturalLawSchool’sabsolutevalue-doctrine,aswellastheabsolutepositivismthatwasmaintainedbytheEmpiricalAnalysisofJurisprudence,soastobehelpfulforexploringaphilosophicalpathtowardsreconciliationandtolerance.However,itseemsthatRadbruch’sacademiceffortstotheinnovationofthetraditionallegalphilosophydidnotgettheduerecognitionandevenhisAcademicsteeringproblem,whichwasdisplayedbeforeandaftertheWorldWarII,hascausedalotofdiscussion.SomepeopleconsiderRadbruch’sacademiceffortsastherevivalofnaturallaw,whilesomeinsistthatRadbruchisaconsistentandfirmlegal-positivist,andsomesayhispositivelyrelativistlegal-philosophydoesnotcontributetotheincrementalknowledge,andevenitsinternalideologicalphilosophyoflawisfullofcontradictions,andishardtobejustifiedbyhimself.So,howtointerprettherelativistlegal-philosophyofRadbruch?What’stherealmeaningofhisrelativistlegal-philosophy?What’rethecharacteristicsofhistheories?Andwhat’sthesignificanceofhislegal-philosophy?Thisarticleintendstoanswertheseissues.Tosolvetheseissues,thisarticlewillbediscussedinthesixsections:IntroductionbrieflyoutlinestheoriginofthearticletopicandteasesouttheacademicstatusaboutRadbruch’stheoriesathomeandabroadnecessarily,soastoextracttheacademicspaceforresearching.Meanwhile,theresearchmethodofthearticlewillbeillustrated.ThefirstpartmainlydiscussesthetheoreticalbasisofRadbruch’slegalphilosophy,whichincludestwoparts,i.e.PhilosophicalfoundationandLegalbasis.AnditaccordinglypointesoutthatRadbruchdevotedhimselftoovercomingdebatebetweenthelawphilosophyofnaturallawandanalyticpositiv
