AbstractSince travel activities cover widely, it is unavoidably to cause disputes. Due to the difference of language communication, customs, cultural setting, values and pursuit of interest, it is more likely to give rise to disputes in transnational tourism. Foreign tourism dispute has its unique features and involves foreigners, thus it is more complicated and sensitive than domestic tourism dispute. In view of similarities among tourism disputes, analysis on theoretical basis (such as conceptual features, types and causes) of domestic tourism dispute is conducive to the research on foreign tourism disputes and lay a foundation for research on construction of ADR mechanism in foreign tourism dispute.Based on the theoretical research of foreign tourism dispute. After the analysis on the effect of ADR mechanism, in order to improve the mechanism of tourism dispute reconciliation, tourism dispute mediation, tourism complaint and tourism dispute arbitration, this chapter will discuss the current defect and perfecting problems of these mechanisms.This chapter includes introduction, and main text.The introduction talks about the innovative points of ADR mechanisms of foreign tourism dispute, discusses the domestic and overseas analysis on current situation of foreign tourism disputes and ADR mechanism, pointing out the significance of establishing ADR in our foreign tourism and the defects of our current research.The first part is is the main part of this thesis, which makes a introduction to the construction of tourism dispute reconciliation, tourism dispute mediation, tourism complaint and tourism dispute arbitration.The second part is the discuss the problem of our current mechanism.
