摘要现代主义绘画作品风格极为丰富。作品流派的历史演变充分展示了一个清晰美学观点的转变，即由传统注重现实的表达转向了注重主观精神的表现。各种艺术表现手法越来越多的呈现在人们的视野中，艺术家们开始思考并尝试着运用简化式的表达。在构图的处理上，物体形式的表达，色彩以及技法语言等各方面都有了很明显的改变。可以说，简化是时代的发展也是时代的需要，更是一种革新，一种进步。本文所阐述的简化并不是通常所指的简单，而是一种相对的简化，即用简单的方式表达出复杂的整体，用简洁的语言表达出事物的本体。简化贯穿于现代主义艺术中的各个领域，是一种不可或缺的表现方式。笔者从时间发展的顺序梳理了现代主义绘画的简化，并通过举例代表性的艺术家给人以直观的表述，让人清晰的感受到现代主义简化是怎样一步步发展成熟的。研究其简化的观念和方法从而总结出简化在绘画中的作用和意义。这也是本文研究的意义所在。论文主体共分为三章。第一章从现代主义绘画的演变和外来因素对现代主义绘画简化的促进作用两方面入手进行分析。简化的表现则从绘画的语言构图、色彩、造型三方面予以深层的解读；第二章以蒙德里安的绘画作品为例，依笔者看，继塞尚之后西方现代主义绘画各流派中，蒙德里安的艺术道路能很好的证明现代主义绘画从具象的描绘逐步到简化直至抽象的演变。第三章在前两章的基础上升到对现代主义绘画简化艺术价值的探讨，继思想内涵的阐述后在现代主义绘画的意义中探讨。关键词：现代主义绘画，简化，蒙德里安ABSTRACTModernismpaintingstyleisextremelyrich.Thehistoricalevolutionofthegenrefullyshowstransformationoftheclearaestheticviewpoint,whichthefocusshiftsfromthetraditionalrealisticexpressiontothesubjectivespiritoftheperformance.Asvariousperformancemeansofartexpressionappearinpeoplesvision,artistsbegantosimplifytheexpressionoftypeontheprocessingofthecomposition.Theobjectintheformofexpression,color,techniquesandlanguageprocessinghaschangedobviously.Inotherway,simplificationisthedevelopmentofthetimesandtherequirementoftheera,further,aninnovationandprogress.Simplificationinthispaperisnotrefertosimple,butarelativelysimplification,whichisasimplewaytoexpresscomplexandthenatureofthingswithconciselanguage.Asanindispensableexpress,simplificationgoesthroughalltheareasofmodernismart.Firstofall,theauthorcombingthesimplificationofmodernismpaintinginorderofchronologicalsequence,andusestherepresentativeartists’casestoshowvisualexpression.Forexample,makepeoplefeelclearlyhowmodernismsimplificationdevelopsstepbystep.Thentheauthorstudythemethodsandconceptofsimplificationandsummarizethefunctionandmeaningofsimplificationinpainting,whichalsoisthesouloftheresearchinthispaper.Thepaperconsistsofthreechapters.Thefirstchapterisanalyzedfromtwoaspects,includingtheevolutionofModernismpaintingandpromotingfromtheexternalfactors.Theexpressionofsimplificationstartsfromthethreeaspectsofcomposition,c
