AbstractDuetotheadvantagesoflowemission,highfueleconomy,andlownoise,ElectricVehicleandHybridElectricVehicle(EVandHEV)arebecomingthefocusesoftheautomotiveresearchandapplication.MotordesignanddrivercontrolarethekeytechnologiesforthepowerandeconomicperformanceofEV/HEV.Inadditiontohighpowerdensity,hightorquedensityandhighefficiency,InteriorPermanentMagnetSynchronousMotor(IPMSM)canbefoundawideapplicationinHEVforitsuniqueweakmagneticcapacity.ThereforetheresearchonthedrivercontrolofIPMSMhasagreatpracticalengineeringsignificanceintoday’ssocietythatenergyneedstobeimproved.Thispaperbeginswiththestructureanalysisofhybrid-magnetic-circuitIPMSMwhichd-qaxismathematicalandsimulationmodelarethenestablishedconsideringthenonlinearofd-qaxisinductorsandflux.AMATLAB/SIMULINKmodelofcurrent/speedclosed-loopcontrolsystemwassetuponthebasisofdetaileddescriptionofvoltagespacevectorpulsewidthmodulation(SVPWM).Simulatethemechanicalcharacteristicsofsystembasedoncontrolstrategyofmaximumtorque/currentatlowspeedandflux-weakeningcontrolathighspeed,andthesimulationresultsshowthatthesteady-statefeatureofthesystemmeettheneedsofEVtractiondrive.Secondly,thethesisdesignsthehardwaresystemofIPMSMdrivecontrolbasedontheTMS320F28335,includingtheinvertermaincircuitusedIGBT,IGBTpower-drivencircuit,controlcircuitbasedonDSP,detectioncircuits,auxiliarypowersupply,excitationcircuitetc.Thedetectioncircuitsincludevoltagedetection,currentdetection,speedandlocationdetection.Inthetext,elaboratetheangleandspeeddetectionprincipleoftransformeranditsdecodingchipinthesystem.Finally,underthedevelopmentenvironmentCCS3.1,usingcandassemblylanguage,programtheIPMSMcontrolalgorithm,includingSVPWM,speedandpositioncalculation,currentA/Dsampling,PIcontroller.Theexperimentsareconductedonthetestbench,notonlyforthecontinuousoperationbutalsoforpeaktransientoperation.Experimentalresultsindicatethatthesystemoutputratedtorquebelowratedspeed,constantpoweroperationaboveratedspeed,meettherequirementsforEVtractiondrive.Keywords：EV/HEV,Driveandcon
