AbstractLowdensityparitycheck(LDPC)codesisanewkindoflinearblockcodes,sinceldpccodeswerefoundtobeaclassofprogressivegoodcodethatveryclosetotheShonnonlimit,ithascausedagreatsensation.LDPCcodes’codingstructureissimple,wecanuseiterativealgorithmfordecoding,whencodes’lengthincreased,thedecodingcomplexitydidn’tincreasewithit,ComparedwithTurbocodes,LDPCcodeshaslowererrorrate,canbedecodedinparallel,thedecodingdelayissmall,withtheseadvantages,theLDPChispaper,wedonerelatedresearchonconstructionofcheckmatrixandImproveddecodingalgorithm,themaincontentsareasfollows:ThroughtheresearchonconstructionalgorithmoftheexcellentperformanceofLDPCcodes,thispapermadetwoimprovementsonPEGalgorithm:usedPC(PolynomialofCycle)labelingmethodcombinedwithPEGalgorithmtoconstructarandomcode,comparedwiththePEGalgorithm,itimprovedtheperformanceofLDPCcodesundertherequirementsofgirth;usethequasi-cycliccodes(Quasi-Cyclic)constructionmethodtomakeLDPCcodes,theparitycheckmatrixiscomposedofmultipleblockcyclicshiftmatrix,thisspecialstructuremakesiteasytoefficientcodingandcanrealizepartialparalleldecodinginengineering.TheexperimentalresultsshowthatthePClabelingmethodcanreducemanyshortcyclesofPEGalgorithm,thequasi-cycliccodes(Quasi-Cyclic)constructionmethodrealizefastcodingandfastencodingunderthepremiseofensuringthedecodingperformancequite.FortheresearchofLDPCdecodingalgorithm,thispaperimplementsasimplifieddecodingalgorithmbasedonnodescheduling.Finitelengthcodewouldexistshortcycle,Itwillaffectthedecodingperformance,nodeschedulingalgorithmisthatwhenthenumberofiterationsishalfofthelocalgirthofavariablenode,wemuststopupdatemessage,uptothemaximumgirthequalthedoubleoftheiterations,weupdateallnodesmessages,nodeschedulingalgorithmmakesiterativetimesoftheindependentmessagesaslargeaspossible.Whenthechecknodeupdatemessage,onlyselectafiniteminimumabsolutevalueusetocalculate,comparedwiththeMSalgorithm,reducetheperformancelosscausedbyapproximatecalculation,alsoreducesthealgorithmcomplexity.Theexperimentalresultsshowthattheimp
