ThesignificanceofthecombinedmeasurementofserumMIC-1、CEA、CA724、CA50ingastriccancerPostgraduatestudent:wangliSupervisors:Prof.LiJideandProf.ZhaoJunhuiAbstractObjective:Tostudytheexpressionlevelofmacrophageinhibitorycytokine-1(MIC-1)inserumofgastriccancerpatients,anditscorrelationwithclinicopathologicalfeaturesofgastriccancer,andthesignificanceofcombineddetectionofMIC-1、CEA、CA72、CA50inthediagnosisofgastriccarcinoma.Methods:ThebloodsamplesofpatientswhowereconfirmedpathologicallyhospitalizedinAffiliateHospitalofQinghaiUniversity.Atotalof199cases,dividedintothreegroups,onegroupofgastriccancer141cases,gastricbenigndiseasegroupof29cases,29casesofnormalcontrolgroup.ELISAmethodwasusedtodetecttheexpressionlevelofMIC-1inserum,CA50wasmeasuredbyimmunoradiometricassayandCEA、CA724weredetectedbyelectrochemiluminescenceimmunoassay.TocomparedtheexpressionlevelsofMIC-1andCA50、CEA、CA724intheserum.ToanalyzeexpressionlevelofMIC-1ingastriccancergroup,gastricbenigndiseasegroupandnormalcontrolgroupthroughtheMann-WhitneyUtest.TherelationshipbetweenMIC-1andclinicopathologicalfeaturesingastriccancergroupwasanalyzed.Accordingtothetumormarkervaluestostatisticalanalysis,anddrawtheROCcurve.AccordingtotheareaundertheROCcurveshowsthatthesensitivityoftumormarkers.DetectedthesensitivityofMIC-1,andanalyzedthesensitivityofcombineddetectionofMIC-1andCEA,CA724,CA50.Results:1.MIC-1levelingastriccancerwassignificantlyhigherthanthatinbenigngastricdiseasegroupandnormalcontrolgroup(P0.001),nosignificantdifferenceofgastricbenigndiseasegroupandnormalcontrolgroup(P0.05).SignificantdifferenceinexpressionofMIC-1wasfoundbetweenpatientswithTNMstages(P0.001),andnosignificantdifferencebetweenpatientswithage,gender,tumorsiteanddifferentiationdegree(P0.05).TheareaundertheROCcurveofMIC-1wascloserto1,theareaunderthecurveisbetterthanthatofCEA,CA724,CA50andthesensitivityofMIC-1maybesuperiortoCEA,CA724,CA50.InserumofgastriccancerpatientsMIC-1、CEA、CA724andCA50Ⅰ-ⅣareaundertheROCcurverespectivelywere：MIC-1：1，1，1，1；CEA：0.4236，0.89
