AbstractConcreteFaceRockfillDamrapidlydevelopsathomeandabroadbecauseofitssafety,economy,adaptabilityandothercharacteristics.Withthewestwardmovementofthecenterofgravityofhydropowerconstruction,manyhydropowerresourcesinthemountaingorgewhereeconomyisbackwardandtransportationisnotconvenient.Hydropowerstationbuiltintheseareasmostlyreachtheheightof250~300m.Theyaregenerallysubjecttoexternaltrafficconditions,terrainconditions,anddamconstructionmaterials,geologicalfactors,whichmakeshighCFRDdambecomethemostcompetitivedamtype.Theearthworkallocationproblemfacedrockfilldamconstructionasthecoreissue,involvingmanyfactors,isacomplexsystematicalproject.Scientificandrationalearthallocationschemecanreducetheconstructioncostofthedam,reducetheuseoffarmlandandprotectthelocalecologicalenvironment,whichhasgreateconomicandpromotionalvalue.BasedonthesystematicanalysisofhighCFRD’searthworkallocation,thisresearchestablishesamathematicalmodelofearthworkallocationbyusingtheobjectivefunctionwhichistheminimumofthewholecostinprojectprocess.Anditalsoconsidersavarietyofquantitativeandqualitativeconstraintsinallocationprocess.Combiningwiththedeploymentofheuristicrulesandcomputersimulationtechnology,thisresearchaimstoestablishanearthrockfilldamallocationmodel.Intheprocessofearthworkallocation,theobjectivefunctionistheshortestpathbetweendeploymentofastartingpointtoearth(ie,feedsources)andthedeploymentoftheend(thatis,bythesourcematerial).Thenconcretefacerockfilldamearthworkallocationoptimizationmodelofthepathisestablishedbyusingtheobjectivefunction.ThenusingAntColonyAlgorithmstocalculatethehorizontaldistancefromthestarttotheendofdeploymenttoachievetheoptimaltransportsolutionsandreducedeploymentcosts.Usingtheabovemodel,thisresearchproduceshighrockfilldamearthworkallocationsoftwarethatisappliedtoapracticalproject,whichaccomplishesthedeploymentprocess,detailedsimulationofearthandrockworkpathoptimizationintheVB2010developmentenvironment.Thethesisisdividedintosixchapters:Chapteroneisadeepanalysisoftheresearch
