Technical standard for taper thread steel joint (417-1996)
Range
The process standard is applicable to the connection of the same diameter or different diameter steel bars of grade 16 and grade 3 reinforced bars in the cast in place reinforced concrete structure of industrial and civil buildings with diameters of about 40mm. The difference between the diameters of the connecting bars is not more than 9mm. The taper thread steel joint should be approved by the designer.
Construction preparation
2.1 materials and main equipment:
2.1.1 steel bar: the grade and diameter of steel bar must comply with the design requirements. There are factory certificate and re examination report sheet.

The connecting sleeve should meet the following requirements:

There are marked specifications (such as 32 or 32).
2.1.2.2
Sealed cover sealed with plastic cone.
2.1.2.3
The size of the same diameter or different diameter sleeve is in the range specified in table 4-25.

The connection sleeve should be classified, packaged and stored, and should not be confused and corroded.

Main tools:
2.1.3.1 steel wire covering machine: model SZ 50A, or other set of diameter of 16mm and above class II and III rebar wire machine.
2.1.3.2: including tooth gauge gauge gage, calipers and taper thread plug gauge.
