AbstractAssociation of serum SP-D with Type 2 DiabetesAssociation of serum SP-D with Type 2 DiabetesAbstractObjectiveTo evaluate the association of serum sp-dwithType 2 Diabetes.Method44 non-smoking subjects with normal glucose tolerance were divided into obese group (A group，BMI≥25kg/m2) and lean group (B group，BMI25kg/m2 ）), 44nonsmoking newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were divided into obese group (C group，BMI≥25kg/m2) and lean group (D group，BMI25kg/m2）) . Height,weight, blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose, HbA1c, total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were determined in all subjects. Body mass index (BMI), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) were calculated.ResultCompared with A group and C group， the levels of SP-D in B group werehigher (P0.05) .
