Like any living entity, an enterprise has its own life cycle, producing, growing, maturing, and dying. In order to prolong the life cycle of the organization and strengthen the vitality of the development of the organization, it is necessary to constantly adjust and change the organizational structure of the enterprise so as to adapt to the change of the external environment of the enterprise and the change of the internal conditions. Changing the status quo is a process. It is not enough to simply destroy the existing order (no matter how satisfactory the present order is), and doing so only leads to confusion. It is not enough to take the first step to change, that is, to destroy the old order; to change the status quo, one must have a long-term plan in mind. To effectively change the status quo, we must consider how the current situation, the future goals to achieve.
I. reasons for organizational change
With the development of the organization and its organizational environment, organizations need constant reform. There are many factors contributing to organizational change. Among them, the most important factors are the following:
1, changes in the business environment. The organizational structure is the basic means to realize the organizational strategy, and the change of the enterprise operation environment will stimulate the enterprise to adjust the management strategy and reform the organizational structure. Enough to cause environmental factors in the reform of the enterprise organizational structure mainly includes: the change speed of macro economic development, industrial structure adjustment, the main economic policy change in government, innovation of product or process caused by the development of science and technology, increasing market demand changes and competition, the environment protection demands and so on.
