AbstractSmall and medium enterprises(SMEs) are an integral part of Chinas national economy and social.They have been the rapid development with Chinas rapid economic development over the 30 years. However, the external environment of market dynamic and the speed of science and technology innovation becomes more apparent with the further deepening of the global knowledge economy integration. The life cycle of products and industry increasingly has become more shorter, Many SMEs died out less than 5 years.The main reason for SMEs fail to get unsustainable growth is lack of dynamic capability,and it is urgent for SMEs to promote dynamic capabilities to suit with the environment. The dynamic capability has been rapid development since the 1990s. Then, it has been growing concern in the strategic management theory and the practice of community. However, there are some key issues could not get a better deal with for the current research on dynamic capabilities, Such as how to measure the dynamic capabilities of SMEs and build, and so on. In this way, it has some theoretical significance in SMEs from the perspective of knowledge. It also has some guidance practical value for SMEs to respond or use of environmental dynamics, to obtain sustainable competitive advantage for the guide of practice value too.In this paper, the knowledge management theory, the theory of dynamic capabilities and organizational learning theory as the theoretical basis, the integrated use of statistics in the literature, the combination of empirical analysis, case studies and the in-depth study of SMEs characteristics will be used to analysis four aspects. First, the SMEs that based on knowledge about dynamic ability and knowledge constitute. Second, from four perspectives to measure the dynamic capabilities of SMEs.Third, evolution model of knowledge Activities. The last, use the case of the SPM enterprise to explain how a company through knowledge activities to build its own dynamic capabilties. B
