But at the same time, piracy has become easier, the digital content management and protection of the urgent need to address the problem. This article describes the development of digital watermarking technology and the importance of the study of digital watermarking, digital watermarking applications and algorithms to do a brief introduction. Focuses on digital watermarking Patchwork algorithm, and the use of Matlab programming algorithm. Verified by experiments almost no difference in the watermarked image and original image, a watermark to reach the hidden, fully confirmed by digital watermark imperceptibility.
