Letter of Invitation Dear Mr./Ms.: Foreign Economic Cooperation Office (FECO) of the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) (hereinafter called “MEP/FECO”) has received financing from Global Environment Facility (GEF) toward the cost of project “Reducing of POPs and PTS release by environmentally sound management throughout the life cycle of electrical and electronic equipment and associated wastes in China” (hereinafter called “the Project”). MEP/FECO will apply a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Proposals is issued. You are requested to submit a proposal for the following consulting services: Management and technology policies research on ecological design of electric and electronic equipment products in China. More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference. A firm will be selected under the selection method and procedures described in this RFP.
