Teaching procedures: Step1: Greetings. Free talk as usual. Step2: Revision 1. T: Look at the picture, let’s chant. 2. T: Show some pictures on the screen to review the names of Dave’s family .First, ask students to review This is.... ,That is.... ,These are...., Those are....”then, ask and answer. Step3: A guessing game and pair-work Show some pictures,first ask students to guess, then Pair work. Ask Is this...?, Is that...?,Are these...?,Are those ...?及Yes, it is./No, it isnt. Yes, they are. /No, they arent. 的回答。 Step4:Listening2a and 2b 1.2a,first ask students to listen to the tape carefully, then circle the words you hear. Then ask a student to check the answer . 2.2b,listen again .Match the names with the people in the picture. If necessary, listen again. Then ask a student to check the answer. 3.Show the listening content on the screen, ask students to listen again, then pay attention to pronunciation and intonation.
