一、教学目标
1. 知识目标
1)掌握以下词汇:
hunger, homeless, clean-up, sign, advertisement, set, establish.
2)掌握并会运用下列重要短语和句型:
clean up, cheer up, give out, put off, set up, think up

听:通过学习本课时的话题,能够听懂有关向别人提供帮助的对话。
说:能够准确的用英语表达向别人提供帮助的对话。

I、 复习热身
1、检查生词预习
1)正音:学生齐读单词,有突出问题的单词由老师正音,然后重点强调,齐读。
2)听写:hunger, homeless, clean-up, sign, advertisement, set, establish. 针对出错的学生,进行纠错。
2、自由交谈:
展示几张需要帮助的人或事的图片。(如:Sick people, homeless children, dirty park, hunger)
T: Do you like these pictures?
S:No,they make me sad.
T:What can you see in the picture?
S:There are some people who need help.
TCan you tell me something about the pictures?
S: The children are very poor,they don’t have money to go to school.
(通过图片让学生充分展开想象力,针对每一幅图片进行描述,激起学生的同情心和对以下内容的兴趣。)
II. 感知体验
1、感知:
(1)What can you do to help sick people? I could visit them in the hospital. I’d like to buy them some flowers. I hope to cheer them up.
Presentation and practice:
T: What can you do to help the people who need your help? For example: What can you do to help sick people?
S: I could visit them in the hospital.
S: I’d like to buy them some flowers.
(让学生给出不同的回答,强调I’d like to, could 和其他动词的搭配。老师不断强化句型,让学生有个模式进行下面的训练。)
2、体验
T: I suggest you set up a volunteer group to try your best to help people. Now please open your books and turn to page 60. Look at the picture. What can you see in it?
