Theresearchoftheapplicationanddatainterpretationofsub-bottomprofilerMastercandidate：WangFang-qiSupervisor：Prof.QiFa-qingAbstract：Thesub-bottomprofilerisageophysicalmethodbasedontheprincipleofacoustics.Itcanacquirethevividinformationofmarinegeologicalstructurewithcontinuoussailing.Firstly，onthebasisofsummarizingtheapplicationandresearchstatusathomeandabroad，thetypes，characteristicsandperformanceindicatorsofsub-bottomprofilersaresystematicallysummarizedandshown.Then，theapplicationofsub-bottomprofilersinthesitesurveysofoffshoremarineoilplatformsandartificialislands，investigationandstudyofmarinedisaster-inducedgeologicalfactors，researchofmarineQuaternarygeology，surveysandmaintenanceofsubmarinepipelines，abundanceassessmentsofmarinemineralresourcesarediscussedbytypicalexamples.Finally，severalissuesrelatedtothedatainterpretationofsub-bottomprofilersareresearched，andtheconclusionsareasfollows：（1）Theslidingaveragefiltermethodisproposedtoeliminatethewave-induced“upsanddowns”phenomenonofsub-bottomprofiles.Itcanmaketheunderlyingstratigraphicalboundariesmoreclearandtheinterpretationofsub-bottomprofilesmoreaccurate.（2）Referringseveralempiricalformulasofforecastingvelocityofsoundinmarinesediment，themarinesedimentsoundvelocitystructuremodelisestablishedtobeusedtothetime-depthconversioncalculationtoimprovetheinterpretationaccuracy.（3）Accordingtotheprincipleofsub-bottomprofiler，thecalculatingformulaforthedistortionrateandthedistortioncorrectioninshallowseaareasareseparatelydeduced，whichprovideimportantreferencevaluetotheuseof“C-View”softwaretointerprettheinformationonsuchsub-bottomprofilesmoreaccurately.Keywords：Sub-bottomprofiler；Datainterpretation；Waveeffect；Velocityofmarinesediment；Distortion目录第一章概述....................................................................................................................11.1引言..................................................................................................................................11.1.1海洋地质地球物理学的重要意义...............
