TheNumericalSimulationoftheInteractionofInternalSolitaryWavesWiththeDeep-SeaSemi-submersiblePlatformandRiserABSTRACTThemarinestructureswillsufferfrommuchextremeoceanenvironmentsindeep-seas,oneofthemistheinternalsolitarywave.SuchanISWhassignificantinfluenceonthesaftyofmarinestructuresduetoitscharacteriticsofthelargeamplitudeandlonglastigtime.Contentresultscanhardlybeattainedbynormallinearpotentialtheorysincetheinteractionbetweentheinternalsolitarywaveandthemarinestructureisamuchcomplicatedproblemduetoitsgreatnonlinearcharacteristics.Therefore,thenumericalflumemethodwillbeaneffectiveanddirectwayforsolvingthisproblem.Onthebasisofreviewingandsummarizingrecentprogressoftheproblem,theworksinthethesisarepresentedasfollow:InchapterⅡ,basedontheReynolds-AveragedNavier-Stokes(RANS)equationsclosedbyemployingthek???modelandthevolumeoffluid(VOF)methodtrackingamovinginterfaceinatwo-layerfluid,anumericalinternal-solitonflumewasdevelopedbyuseofthedouble-pistonwave-makermethodandthewaveabsorbingtechnologybasedtheporousmediumswithmultiplelayers,thevalidityofgeneratingandabsorbingwavesforsuchanumericalflumehasbeenconfirmed.InchapterⅢ,theinteractionbetweentheinternalsolitarywaveandtheGVA7500semi-submersibleplatformwasnumericallysimulatedandanalyzedbyuseoftheproposednumericalflume.Thecharacteriticsofthesuddenimpactloadsandsurfacepressuredistibutiononthesemi-submersibleplatformduetosuchaninternalsolitarywavewerepresentedanddiscussed.InchapterⅣ,theinteractionbetweentheinternalsolitarywaveandsomedeep-seariserwiththehighaspectratiowasnumericallysimulatedandanalyzedbyuseoftheproposednumericalflumeandthefiniteelementmethodbasedonthethinshellmodel.Thecharacteriticsoftheexternaldynamicloadsandsurfacepressuredistibutiononthedeep-seariserduetosuchaninternalsloitarywavewerepresentedandtheeffectoftheinternalsolitarywaveonthedynamicresponeseforsuchaseep-seariserwasdiscussed.KEYWORDS:internalsolitarywave;semi-submersibleplatform;deep-seariser;numericalflume;double-pistonwave-maker;porousmediumwave-abs
