ABSTRACT Nowadays, the environmental problem of the whole world has become one of the critical factors restricting the development of every country. Improving the green construction of the city, which is the important carrier of development, has been the key method to make the ecological environment better. As the main public project, afforestation is the key point to build the urban image and change the investment climate. As one of the four municipality cities, Tianjin’s afforestation is typical in northern China. The green space affiliated to every company is essential in improving the small environment by playing its ecological and social functions. Therefore, studying and analyzing maintenance and management pattern of green space lays the foundation for making effective management measures. Based on analysis on natural resources of Tianjin, the paper selects Five Avenue Area in Heping District as research object, evaluates the green space affiliated to units in the area in terms of ecological benefits, level of maintenance and management, and adaptation of plants. The paper tries to set up maintenance and management system of green space affiliated to units consisting of basic material management system and maintenance management system in line with the results of analysis and referring to management experience of afforestation and green space affiliated to units of other cities. By analyzing the research on Five Avenue Area and setting up maintenance management system, main factors influencing green space affiliated to units are concluded as follows: construction of green space affiliated to units, selection of way of management, structure of department in charge and scientific management.
